About Beverley
Multiple award-winning private Physiotherapist in Petersfield

Bev is a multiple award-winning private Physiotherapist in Petersfield. Bev Ball physio was started in 2016, with the aim of providing high quality care in a nurturing environment. Bev wanted to provide people with enough time in appointments to enable a thorough assessment and really listen to the clients individual needs, as well as provide effective treatment and self-management strategies.
Physiotherapy has always been part of Bev's life, as a close family member required daily physiotherapy to treat their condition. This has given a unique perspective and been the root of her person centred, empathetic approach to treatment.
Bev has always loved learning about the human body and completed a 1st class honours Sport Science degree, giving her an in-depth knowledge of human biology, exercise physiology and biomechanics.
Physiotherapy was a natural progression and she graduated with 1st class honours and academic achievers award from Cardiff University. Bev has had a variety of acute and outpatient experience, working in specialist centres in both the NHS and private sector. Bev comes from a neuro-specialist background which gives her a unique perspective when treating the body as a whole in relation to someone's life and environment; to make lasting and meaningful changes.

Ongoing continual professional development is key to her success and attends a variety of course and conferences every year. Bev's specialist areas of interest are Parkinson's and integrated body scar work therapy, particularly relating to breast cancer and abdominal surgeries.
I love the human body and will never tire of learning about it. I chose Physiotherapy as a vocation because of its ability to empower, it gives people tools and knowledge to help themselves. It amazes me how the human body can recover and I feel privileged to have a job that can make a difference.
